DRIVER RUSHED TO HOSPITAL AFTER CAR BURNT TO ASHES AT GALELIA.
Driver of a Nissan Micra, has been rushed to Hospital after his private car with the registration number GN 1942-22 burnt to Ashes at Galelia in the Ga South Municipality on the Accra- Kasoa Highway in the Greater Accra Region.
Sources says, the driver of the Nissan Micra was coming from Kasoa to Accra Direction and upon reaching Galelia, the driver noticed that, there is heat coming out from the car.
Some residents who failed to speak on camera says, the driver stop and open the bonnet of the car.
They revealed that after the driver opens the bonnet, the driver saw fire coming out from the car engine.
Some of them says, the driver requested for fire extinguisher from the nearby shops but couldn’t stop the fire due to the quantum of the fire .
The driver of the car went unconscious and has been rushed to hospital and it’s not clear whether the car belongs to him to he was sent.
The vehicle was gone before the arrival of fire officers from the Weija division.
Currently, the fire officers are clearing the road to ease traffic.
