DON’T DEPEND ON YOUR MAN FOR SURVIVAL – MAYA BLU

Ghanaian female artiste, Maya Blu, says it’s bad to depend on a man for survival.

Speaking in an interview with blogger Attractive Mustaph Nii Okai Insah at the recently held VGMA Jam in Ho, Maya said that there’s nothing more precious and sweet than a woman working hard and having her own money.

The UNSUNG category nominee in the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) had the privilege to perform one of her popular songs titled “Good girl no dey pay” to wit being a good girl does not pay you.

She proceeded by saying that the song is actually her personal love story. According to her, she wrote and recorded the song which literally means “If you are a good girl it does not mean your man will stay beside you and never leave”

She narrated how she sacrificed a lot in a former relationship of hers with hopes of keeping the man but he ended up Stabbing her in the back .

“When both of us are hungry I make sure he eats before I eat, I do everything that a woman is supposed to do for a man to be happy.” she said.
