Ghanaians React: 15% VAT on Electricity.

Some Ghanaians in Kasoa in the Awutu Senya Municipality have expressed their opinions on the 15% VAT on electricity which the government wants to impose.

Most of them feel that the increment would not be of any good to them as Ghanaians are already facing a lot of financial difficulties due to the current economic hardship.
Some also said that they would not mind if this particular increment is imposed but only if it will be used to develop the state which they are not sure of.

They also suggested that the government should rather focus on using the existing taxes to improve the economy rather than bombarding them with outrageous taxes, as the ones that are already paid are not properly utilized.
