My first hit song was ‘Amen’ by Yaa Pono – Kin Dee (Award Winning Music Producer)

Award winning music producer, Kwabena Ofosu Ankomah, popularly known as Kin Dee Beat has stated that his first ever hit song produced was ‘Amen’ by hiplife artist Yaa Pono.

Speaking in an interview with host Ama Papabi on ‘Adekyeɛ Mu Nsem’ star chat, King Dee delved into how he got recognition when it comes to beat making and music production.

He threw more light on his music production journey when he was quizzed by the host and gave insight on beat making, mixing, mastering of songs among others.

He later made it known that hiplife artiste, Yaa Pono’s ‘Amen’ song was his first hit as a music producer and that the song gave him breakthrough in his music production career. He also made mention of other artistes he has worked and produced hit songs with, the most prominent been Takoradi’s very own Kofi Kinaata.

The music producer ended by advising the youth to observe peace during this year’s election while announcing his upcoming music project.
