Woman in her 50s riding from Lagos to Accra for autism alert.
Dr. Eziafakaku Nwokolo ,the founder of Shades of life foundation (SOLF) an NGO that provides resources for autism intervention services, is on a mission to make sure that no child is left behind .
She is leading a team of 10 riders on the audacious day bicycle ride from Lagos to Accra and back to raise awareness of autism and advocate for inclusivity in the society.
Speaking on why she is embarking on this brave journey , she says ” first she is a parent of an autism child, so apart from the challenges faced by families, she feels a lot have not been done in the area of solidarity and creating awareness, secondly as a professional in the field she realized that people fear what they don’t understand or don’t know how to support their members because they have no information .
