Two policemen stationed at Ofoase in the Akyemansa District of the Eastern Region have reportedly lost their lives following a collision involving a motorbike and a tricycle. The deceased individuals have been identified as Lance Corporal Anti Isaac and Constable Thomas Allonyor, both of whom were off duty at the time of the incident.
according to reports from GHOne TV based in Accra, the officers were riding a motorbike from Ofoase to buy meat at Ayirebi when they collided into a stationary tricycle.
They were rushed to a nearby hospital but later succumbed to their injuries.
The bodies of the deceased officers have since been deposited at a morgue as the police commence further investigations into the incident.
