A STRONG INDUSTRIAL SECTOR REQUIRES DEPENDABLE POWER AND WE REMAIN FULLY COMMITTED TO DELIVERING IT – DR. JOHN JINAPOR

The Minister of Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Jinapor, has assured that the government will continue to ensure a consistent and reliable electricity supply to support their businesses.
He made the point that a strong industrial sector requires dependable power and
assured that they remain fully committed to delivering it.
On Wednesday, March 4, as part of his commitment to directly engage power consumers and better understand their concerns, he met with bulk electricity users from the manufacturing and industrial sectors.
Officials from the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDCo), Public Utilities Regulatory Commission, Energy Commission (PURC), Volta River Authority (VRA) and the Bui Power Authority (BPA) were present at the meeting.
“We listened carefully to the concerns raised by our captains of industry. I assured them of the government’s readiness to work collaboratively to address their issues,” the Minister wrote on Facebook after the meeting.
He stressed, “We will continue to ensure a consistent and reliable electricity supply to support their businesses.
“A strong industrial sector requires dependable power, and we remain fully committed to delivering it.”
