C/R: GOMOA ONYAADZE ROAD CRASH, TWO PERSONS CRITICALLY INJURED
Two persons are critically injured in an accident which occurred at Gomoa Onyaadze on Winneba- Cape Coast stretch of the Accra-Takoradi highway.
The accident involved a Toyota Corolla with registration number GT 1753-Z and a trailer with registration number CR-2283-C on Tuesday 25th of April,2023.
Giving an account, ADO1 Ebenezer Fiifi Dadzie P.R.O. of the Ghana National Fire Service in the Effutu Municipality said, the two injured persons were in the Toyota Corolla.
According to him, their investigations revealed that the bonnet of the Toyota Corolla accidentally opened and covered the windscreen whiles it was still in motion which caused the driver to lose control forcing him to veer off his lane into the other lane. Try as the trailer driver tried to save the occupants of the car he hit the back.
ADO1 Fiifi Dadzie advised all drivers to adopt the practice of routinely run checks on their cars before they start their journeys.
