Christmas: Patronage of our goods are very low – Kasoa Market Women lament
Some market women at Kasoa, the old market of the Awutu Senya East Municipality in the Central Region, have shared their experiences with Lucky TV on the current economic hardship Ghana is facing especially in this festive season.
Based on their thoughts, they all arrived at the fact that the market has now stalled.
According to them, the change has been as a result of the first-year students who are reporting to school during this festive season, where they (market women) claim that teachers and heads of schools are now selling the things that parents were supposed to buy from the market, hence causing a reduction in their daily earnings.
Looking at the brighter side, they are all hoping to see an improvement in sales before the end of the month (December).
