Dr. Bawumia to set 3 new records at the 2024 general election – Hon Simon Osei
The Ashanti regional minister, Hon Simon Osei Mensah has said that, the flagbearer of the ruling party NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will set a very unique political record in the upcoming general election which no political leader has been able to do.
According to Hon Simon Osei, Dr. Bawumia will be the first flagbearer in Ghanaian politics to lead his political party to break the 8 years cycle in government.
He maintained that, Dr Bawumia will be a flagbearer who will appear in first time in the general elections to win power.
He will be the first Islam to become president of Ghana and for the icing on the cake President Akufo Addo will be the first Ghanaian preident to hand over power to his party member.
Hon Simon Osei Mensah revealed that, this will happened based on the unique achievements of the NPP government.
Hon Simon Osei Mensah was speaking during a handing over ceremony of the District Road Improvement Programme(DRIP) to 43 MMDAs in Kumasi.
The District Chief Executive of Adansi Akrofuom, Hon. Maurice Jonas Woode, and some MMDAs applauded the government for this road transformation initiative, which will bring improvement in the lives of people within the district and the country as a whole.
