ELECTION 2024:’HUMAN LIFE IS VALUABLE, ENSURE PEACE AND PROTECT LIVES- SIMON MBUTHU TO POLITICIANS

The Ghana territorial Chief Secretary of the Salvation Army church; Lt. Col. Simon Mbuthu from Kenya has advised Ghanaian politicians to consider humans lives to be valuable as the country prepares for its presidential and parliamentary election this year 2024.

Lt. Col. Simon Mbuthu speaking to the press at the annual divisional rally of the West Akyem division of Salvation Army church held at Ofoase in the Akyemansa district emphasized that, human life is really valuable hence politicians should realize that during election so as to protect it.

He elaborated that it would be very prudent if election is held successfully without human life lost or blood shed, therefore it is mandatory for politicians who are seeking for power to ensure that human lives are protected before, during and after election.
He added that Ghana is a very peaceful country which everyone across the globe wishes to have, therefore Ghanaians shouldn’t allow this year’s election destroy the peace they are enjoying especially the youth who are always motivated by little money to cause confusion during election.

The Ghana territorial women’s ministry secretary; Lt. Col. Zipporah Mbuthu also advised Ghanaian women not to allow themselves to be influenced with money to cause any form of violence or to indulge in anything that has to do with blood shedding during this year’s election, but will rather encourage them to preach peace since they are the people who normally suffer most when there’s war in the country.

The divisional leader of the West Akyem division of Salvation Army church; Major Stephen Adu-Gyan advised Christians especially members of the Salvation Army church not to be ashamed of their faith whenever they travel to a new location, but should always be proud of their church and endeavor to worship anywhere they find themselves.
