GOMOA MPRUMAM ACCIDENT; 3 DEAD, 12 OTHERS IN CRITICAL CONDITION
A Toyota Hiace Stanbic car with registration number CR 805_ 24 involved in an accident at Gomoa Mprumem on Mankessim – Winneba high way in the Gomoa West distict of the central region
According to the Ghana National Fire Service DO2 Anthony Kwasi Rhule, the Toyota Haice Stambic driver was over speeding and busted the front tyre which led to the car summersaulting and later catches fire.
Apam and Winneba Fire Service and the Ambulance service personnel’s were there to quench the fire and rescue lives.
Three persons reportedly died at the spot and 12 others in critical condition and were taking to Trauma and Specialist Hospital at Winneba for treatment.
Two children aged 10 and 12 years respectively survived the accident but their parents were among those who passed on.
The dead bodies have been taken to St. Luke Catholic Hospital Morgue, including the driver’s mate.
