Kojo Antwi to Host Memoir Signing in New York
Music legend engages fans in Newark after U.S. performance celebrating his legacy

Ghanaian music icon Kojo Antwi is set to sign copies of his memoir in New York on Thursday, April 16, 2026, as part of efforts to connect with fans in the United States.
The memoir, MR MUSIC MAN: THE JOURNEY, was officially launched in Accra on February 13, 2026, and is now being introduced to audiences abroad.
The book signing event will take place at Source of Knowledge Bookstore in Newark from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Kojo Antwi is currently in New York following a performance on April 11, organised by the Kwahuman Association of New York in collaboration with the Kojo Antwi Foundation. The event, themed “Celebrating the Music Man, Kojo Antwi,” brought together members of the Kwahu community in the diaspora, alongside international guests.
As part of his visit, the artiste is expected to spend three hours interacting with fans, signing copies of his memoir, and taking photographs with attendees.
In a message shared on social media, he invited fans in New Jersey to join him for the session and meet him in person.
The memoir, co-authored by George Essiaw, explores Kojo Antwi’s early life, his journey through band performances, and the experiences that shaped his career. It offers a detailed account of both his personal and professional life.
The book’s launch in Accra featured tributes and goodwill messages, including a eulogy in honour of former President John Agyekum Kufuor, as well as remarks from business leaders who praised the enduring influence of his music.
Ahead of the U.S. event, Kojo Antwi also presented a copy of the memoir to his long-time friend, Ivorian music legend Meiway, in Paris, where the artiste resides.
