In many parts of the world, fathers are not usually celebrated as much as we do mothers. The immediate past mother’s day event was no exception, with Lucky TV coming up with an innovative Special Mother’s day awards for selected disadvantaged and marginalized mothers.
To help reverse the trend and let fathers take their rightful place in society, Lucky TV is organizing it’s maiden Special Father’s day awards scheduled to come off on 18th June, 2023.
The station has taken it upon itself to celebrate every responsible father but the SPECIAL AWARDS CELEBRATION is for special categories namely :
1. A Person With Dusability single father.
2. A grandfather playing the role of a father again after losing sons.
3. A father taking care of orphans.
4. A father taking care of Persons with Disability children.
5. A single father taken care of a dozen children .
For the award categories, my favourite is the grandpa who has been forced to resume fatherly duties again because he lost his son (The father of his grandchildren).
