NACOC Warns Public Over Fake Recruitment Scams
Narcotics Control Commission says no recruitment exercise is ongoing and cautions job seekers against fraudsters

The Narcotics Control Commission has warned the public to disregard a surge in recruitment scams falsely linked to the agency, stressing that it has not opened any hiring process.
The warning follows recurring incidents in Ghana where fraudsters exploit the names of state institutions to deceive unemployed job seekers.
In a statement issued on April 16, NACOC said it has not commenced any recruitment exercise and has not authorised any individual or group to recruit on its behalf.
The Commission noted that it has become aware of persons posing as agents and promising employment opportunities within the agency.
It cautioned the public against paying money or providing personal details to anyone claiming to offer jobs, warning that legitimate recruitment processes do not involve such demands.
NACOC further stated that individuals involved in the fraudulent activities will be arrested and prosecuted.
