Nyamebekyere Community Appeals for Basic Amenities During Commissioning of Teachers’ Bungalow
The Nyamebekyere community in the Amansie South District has appealed for essential infrastructure, including electricity, a CHPS compound, telecommunications network, and improved roads. The appeal was made during the commissioning of a three-unit self-contained teachers’ bungalow at Manso Nyamebekyere D/A School.
During the event, community leaders, including the Assembly Member, the chief, teachers, and residents, called on the government and relevant authorities to address their infrastructural needs, which they said are critical to improving the quality of life in the area.
Hon. Lawyer Clement Opoku Gyamfi, District Chief Executive of Amansie South, praised the teachers for their dedication to providing education despite the numerous challenges they face. He encouraged the teachers who would benefit from the new bungalow to maintain the facility and ensure its proper upkeep.
Member of Parliament for the Manso Adubia constituency, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo, also took the opportunity to address the community. He promised that he had taken note of their concerns and would work diligently to resolve them. He urged the community to continue supporting the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to ensure that more development projects are delivered in the future.
The newly commissioned teachers’ bungalow is expected to provide much-needed accommodation for the teachers at Manso Nyamebekyere D/A School, which will help improve teaching and learning conditions in the area.
