Prez. Mahama to Engage the Media on Wednesday Sept. 10

This is the first media encounter of his second term.
The event is scheduled to take place at The Presidency at 8:00 pm, a statement issued and signed by Minister of Government Communications Felix Kwakye Ofosu on Monday, September 8, said.
According to the statement, the encounter will provide a unique platform for President Mahama to engage the Ghanaian people, through the media, on pressing national issues, his Resetting Ghana Agenda, policies and ongoing projects.
“It will also offer an opportunity for journalists to pose questions directly to the President on a wide range of subjects affecting the nation. Participation will be strictly by accreditation,” it said.
Since assuming office on January 7, 2025, President Mahama has outlined a number of initiatives as part of efforts ot reset the country.
Among the initiatives included the No Fees Stress Policy, the launch of the 24 Hour economy initiative and a few others.
He is also expected to answer some critical questions on issues such as the removal of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo from office.
