Stay away from Kumawu Abasi chieftaincy conflicts – Asene Family Head warned politicians

The Head of Asene Family of Kumawu Abasi in the Sekyere Kumawu district of Ashanti region, Abusuapanin kwadwo Tawiah has warned political parties, especially politicians of the ruling New Patriotic to stay away from the ongoing Chieftaincy conflict between the Asene family and other faction in the area.

Addressing the media in a news conference at Kumawu Abasi today, Abusuapanin Kwadwo Tawiah revealed that, the case is before Kumawu judicial committee of which they are all waiting for the verdict

But their attention has been drawn that some politicians are using their political power to influence the case before the judicial committee.

Speaking to media in an interview, this is what the Abusuapanin of Kumawu Abasi Asene family had to say.

On their part, some of the family members also warned the politicians to stay away from the case because chieftaincy matters are different from politics.
