Shatta Wale Throws His Support Behind Black Sherif on ‘Iron Boy’ album to shame critics

Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has expressed excitement for Black Sherif’s new sophomore album, ‘Iron Boy’ amidst speculations that Black Sherif subtly disrespected him in one of his songs on the album.
The album was released on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Following the release of the album, social media users upon listening to some songs on the album speculated that the Kumasi-based artiste has ‘thrown shades’ at Shatta Wale referring to a particular lyric of Black Sherif’s song ‘Where Dem Boyz’.
The line in the song which is being referred to reads: ‘Cowboy from Ali express, if you claim you are the savior, save yourself.
However, the ‘Minamino Sin’ crooner took to X to show love to Black Sherif following the release of his album.
Wale dismissed the speculations that Black Sherif had called him out in a subtly manner in one of his songs. He criticised social media users who were spreading false claims, stating that he is focused on making more money while urging Black Sherif to keep up with his craft.
“If you follow Ghanaians, you will even think God is your enemy. Congrats on this master piece lil one. Go hard and don’t stop.
“I never hear say you say Shatta wale this, Shatta that, but as usual those unemployed Ghanaians deh try push agenda.
“I am too bank minded for Nonesense .. Just do your thing my G!!! SM4LYF. Let’s make da kwacha hardddd in their faces ..Who loose now,” Shatta Wale tweeted on April 3, 2025.
