AKUFO ADDO LAUDS WOMEN JUDGES

To President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, his accomplishments in the Judiciary in terms of infrastructure enhancement, is unprecedented.
Nana Akufo Addo lauded women judges and urge them to help in the facelift of the judicial system.

The President made the comments at the inauguration of the 2024 Africa Conference of the International Association of Women Judges.
The conference, themed ‘The Role of Women Judges in Combatting Negative Cultural Practices in Contemporary Times,’ served as a platform to discuss pertinent issues concerning gender equality and judicial activism.

President Akufo-Addo, speaking to the jurists expressed the need for infrastructure to be prioritized in ensuring the theme of the program is attained.
“Indeed, since I assumed office in 2017, my government has made unprecedented progress in the provision of court buildings and residences for judges around the country.
