Massive Crowd Turn Up To Support The King Damien Foundation Health Walk
King Damien Foundation Launches Blood Donation Drive Ahead of Agona Duakwa Akwabo Festival
The King Damien Foundation headed by King Damien held their maiden Health Walk and Blood Donation exercise at Agona Duakwa in the Agona East district of the Central Region in anticipation of the main Blood Donation exercise during the Agona Duakwa Akwambo festival.
In collaboration with the Salvation Army government hospital and Agona Duakwa traditional leaders, King Damien Foundation have launched its maiden blood donation program to support life and emergency cases.

The Agona Duakwa Akwambo festival will commence on 9th to 14th October 2023. As part of its preparations King Damien Foundation, the Salvation Army hospital and Nananom of Agona duakwa organized a health walk on 30th September, 2023 to create awareness on the need to donate blood to save emergency blood related situations if the need arises.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief of Agona Duakwa Nana Kojo Amoakwa V expressed his appreciation to the foundation for such an initiative and again urged all and sundry to be part of this exercise to save lives and other emergency blood related cases in the area.
A member of the foundation Issaka Iddrisu in addressing the massive crowd further elaborated that the main exercise will start on Monday 9th to Saturday 14th October.
He entreats all to be part of the exercise to make it a success.
