NDC administration will revitalize poultry industry – Prof. Naana Opoku Agyeman

The running mate to the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman has promised to revitalize the nation’s poultry industry and transform it into a striving competitive sustainable sector.
He said, the next NDC government will establish Ghana poultry industry as a leading producer of high-quality poultry to meet 60 percent of domestic demand by 2027.

Addressing poultry farmers in Kumasi today, the running mate of the NDC, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang noted that the NDC government decreased the import of poultry bill from 76 million in 2012 to 105 million in 2015.

On his part, the National Chairman of the Poultry Farmers Association, Mr Peter Oppong Adjei said they want policies that will transform the poultry industry in Ghana.
