In an exclusive interview on the ‘Time With The Unusuals” show on Lucky TV, hosted by Ama Papabi, Ernestina Kafui, A professional phone repairer gave a full story of her journey on becoming a professional phone repairer.
Ernestina spoke on her difficult beginnings, starting a boxing career and forgoing an opportunity to join the army.
Becoming a professional phone repairer was a hard task since it’s male dominated. Coming out as a female to get involved in such a job made her odd but through determination and willingness to master the trade, Ernestina has become the go to person when it comes to repairing of phones.
As it was usual of most women who were seen as “tom boys” due to her chosen profession, host Ama Papabi quizzed of her if she has been accused of being a member of the LGBTQ community before, she answered in the affirmative and cleared the air on her standing as far as her sexual orientation is concerned.
Ernestina Kafui seeks support to own her own shop in order to train more females in the phone repairing profession.
