In a latest twist of events, a news item that started circulating on Monday, 17th July, 2023, reporting that a bird had turned into a human leading to the conclusion that she was a witch has no basis.
Lucky TV news team spoke to the family head of the woman accused of witchcraft, Ebusuapanyin Ebo Kobina, disclosed that the said woman, popularly known as Adibole, has had a speech defect from birth aside being mentally unstable, thereby behaving the way she does.
He added that at age 67, he has witnessed a witch caught and exorcised but Adibole’s case was very different and can’t be said to be a witch. What actually happened was that she had gone missing for the past three days and she was being looked for, only for some youth in the community to come showing them a video of their daughter been accused of being a witch.
He advised that spiritual men and women should be very circumspect in exercising their spiritual rights, so as not to trample on the human rights of innocent people.
