FIFA TO PAY GHANAIAN CLUBS $565,000 FOR THEIR PLAYERS’ PARTICIPATION IN THE 2022 WORLD CUP

In a latest announcement by FIFA, it will pay almost £190m to clubs around the world whose players featured at the World Cup, as part of its Club Benefits Programme.

The statement read: “As part of its commitment to recognise the contribution that football clubs make to the successful staging of the FIFA World Cup, today FIFA started the application process for its Club Benefits Programme that will see USD 209 million distributed to clubs across the world.”

Afirca is getting its fair share of over $4.5million USD, going to the domestic clubs of countries who represented Africa at the Qatar World Cup 2022.
