Former Liverpool striker and Brazil national team member Roberto Firmino has become a pastor at the age of 32. The footballer announced this on his social media accounts.
It is worth noting that the Brazilian, along with his wife, was ordained as an evangelical pastor at the church he had founded together three years ago. The dedication ceremony took place last Sunday in Firmino’s hometown of Maceio.
Currently, Firmino plays for the Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli. In the last season, Firmino played 34 matches in all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists. According to Transfermarkt’s assessment, Firmino’s market value is eight million euros.
