Bawumia Meets EU Ambassadors to Deepen Ghana–Europe Cooperation
Mahamudu Bawumia engages diplomats on security, trade, and investment opportunities

Former Vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia, on Tuesday held a high-level breakfast meeting with ambassadors from the European Union in Accra to discuss areas of mutual interest.
The meeting brought together Heads of Mission from ten EU member states, Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Malta alongside EU officials.
Discussions focused on key shared priorities, including regional security, strengthening economic relations, and expanding investment opportunities in Ghana.
Dr. Bawumia, who is also the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening Ghana’s democratic institutions, promoting sustainable economic growth, and advancing inclusive social development.
The engagement underscores ongoing efforts to deepen cooperation between Ghana and the European Union, while exploring new avenues for partnership across multiple sectors.
