COMMUTERS AND DRIVERS AT KASOA LAMENT OVER TRAFFIC LIGHT MALFUNCTION

Drivers and commuters in the Awutu Senya East Consituency of the Central Region are lamenting over the malfunctioning of traffic lights at major intersections within the municipality.
They are therefore appealing to the Ministry of Transport and the Municipal Chief Executive to fix them and street lights across the constituency to avert accidents.

Speaking with Lucky TV reporter Leticia Dadzie, the drivers indicated that the traffic lights have been faulty for the past three to four years but authorities have neglected it. As a result, a series of avoidable accidents
have been occurring at these intersections.
Eyiah Isaac, a commercial driver, appealed to the Ghana Police Service to come to their aid in the form of traffic direction to ease congestion until the traffic lights are fixed.

However, Moses Mussai, a taxi driver, called on government and the member of parliament for Awutu Senya East who also doubles as Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson, to liase with the appropriate institutions to get the traffic lights fixed to enable better transport system to aid socio-economic development in the area.
