Hearts of Oak must consider the Youth in Club Administration – Harry Zakkour

Former Hearts of Oak CEO Harry Zakkour has called for younger leadership to manage the club, criticizing the current board’s effectiveness due to their age.

In a recent interview on Prime Take with Muftawu Nabila Abdulai, Zakkour highlighted his past successes with the team, winning numerous trophies and transforming Hearts of Oak into a dominant force in Ghanaian and African football.

He questioned whether the older board members could dedicate sufficient time and attention to the team, likening footballers’ needs for attention to those of women. Despite his successful tenure, Zakkour expressed disappointment over not receiving shares in the club when it was floated and shared his reluctance to pursue legal action for this.

He remains proud of his achievements with Hearts of Oak and is deeply invested in the club’s well-being.
