Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Sidney Kofi Ofori, popularly known as Barima Sidney has stated in an exclusive interview on Lucky Tv Star Chat morning show that he did not apologize to Mahama because of the ‘papa no’ song.
On Adekyeɛ Mu Nsem, Star Chat show on Lucky TV, the Hiplife Ninja, known widely as Barima Sidney took us back to the early days of his music journey, hit songs and why he took a music break. Also, he talked on his new music project titled BBF.
Concerning the isssue of apologizing to former President Mahama on his controversial ‘Papa No’ song, Barima Sidney said , the song was inspired by a social media trend. In elaborating, he added that “nobody was a target, however some individuals intentionally inserted the former president’s picture in an edited video, which I did not commission”
As a result, he apologized to Mahama for any harm caused. He further said that he can’t be quiet about the current happenings in the country and will drop a song about the current state of the country soon.
