ABOAKYER FESTIVAL : MAIDEN EDITION OF THE CYCLING RACE ENDS.
The maiden edition of the Aboakyer Festival Cycling race took place over the weekend. The race took off in Accra and ended in Winneba at the Taxi Rank. The event was organized by the Cycling Federation, Winneba Sports College and the Effutu Traditional Council.
Addressing the racers, organizers, the media and fans, Paramount Chief of the Effutu Traditional Council, Nenyi Ghartey VII, commended the racers, organizers and fans who came to witness the maiden edition of the Aboakyer Cycling Race.
At the end of the race, Emmanuel Mensah a.k.a Shamaah, emerged winner. speaking to Lucky TV, he said, he is looking forward to more of such events and that the cycling clubs around the nation are well prepared for any cycling race, right to the top professional level where they are ready to represent Ghana.
