MP-elect for Kumawu, Mr. Ernest Yaw Anim, has thanked his constituents for the overwhelming votes they lined up to cast to earn him and the NPP a win yesterday. In his words, “the people of Kumawu only showed their acceptance and love for me and the NPP party, coupled with the development drive with strategic policies and infrastructure building in the constituency, which were started by his predecessor,the late Hon. Philip Basoah.
In responding to how he plans to continue the work that his predecessor started, Mr. Anim outlined certain areas of the constituency that he will be looking at through lobbying and invitation of investors, including roads.
Finally, host of #AdekyeɛMuNsem Ishmael Mubarack quizzed him about what he makes of the many allegations levelled against him and the NPP by the NDC. He said he would leave them just as they are – allegations with no iota of truth adding that it is just the agenda the opposition NDC that didn’t auger well for them. He noted that they have just been rewarded by the good people of Kumawu for their track record in improving the lives of the people in the constituency.
