HIGHLIGHTS OF THE LUCKY TV MAIDEN SPECIAL FATHER’S DAY AWARDS
The maiden edition of the Lucky TV Special Father’s Day Awards came on, on the 18th day of June, 2023 just as it was promised, the event saw Lucky TV reward very special categories to bring the day to a glorious end.
In attendance was the Host, Legendary Veteran Actor, Mr. David Dontoh, Prof. Dr. Stephen Noble Yeboah (CEO of Yeb Group of Companies), Mrs. Agyeiwa Yeboah (CEO of Agyeiwa Clothing), Evangelist Esther Freeman (Gospel Artiste) and many other dignitaries who all came to grace the occasion with their presence.
The event took off with the Host giving a brief introduction, he tapped into his experience and wowed attendees in the studio and viewers at home with his exceptional communication skills, telling us a story of how “The Father” came to be known as “Agya” in the Akan dialect to get the crowd fired up for the program.
This was followed by another Veteran in the media space who happen to be the General Manager of Lucky Television, organizers of the event, Mr. Ebenezer Ampaabeng, narrating the concept behind “THE LUCKY TV SPECIAL FATHER’S DAY AWARD”, its purpose and future plans.
To touch on just one point he made, he said “The Royal chair that was situated at the front of the studio, was a symbol of Royalty and as such placing every father that was awarded on the day on it is to symbolize that God has raised you to the position that He created every man to be.
The day saw Lucky TV recognize and award Mr. Daniel Borketey (A Father with Disability), honoured as an Outstanding Father with disability, Mr. Richard Brown, popularly know as Osebo the Zaraman (Founder of Osebo the Zaraman Foundation), who caters for widows and orphaned children was awarded as an outstanding father 2023, Mr. Ekow Aidoo (a single father with disability), honoured as an outstanding father, Mr. George Kuntu Blackson (Father of an autistic child), also honoured as an outstanding father. Now the woman among the men, playing the role of both a mother and a father, to a child with disability and his siblings, Madam Rebecca Jedo, was honoured with the outstanding father 2023 award.
Prof. Dr. Stephen Noble Yeboah (C.E.O/Founder of YEB Group of Companies), a serial entrepreneur and a philanthropist to both young and old took home the Visionary Father to Many award for the year 2023.
Dr. Francis Essel Okyeahene (Founder of Young Executive School, YES), was conferred with the honour of a Special Father to Many and finally the surprise of the day, to the host of the day, the Legendary Mr. David Dontoh, for his role in mentoring and leading the way in his field of endeavor, where he succeeded to rise to the very top, was honoured with the award of outstanding father 2023.
The event was interspersed with music performance by Evangelist Esther Freeman, further making it more interesting after so much emotions was poured out due to the many chilling stories that were shared by the many greats who were awarded on the day.
