NDC IS NOT IN ANYWAY DISRUPTING PARLIAMENTARY PROCEEDINGS – HON. ERIC AFFUL (MP, AMENFI WEST)

With major concerns from the public regarding the minority in Parliament’s decision to boycott proceedings in the House,
Lucky TV had an exclusive interview with the member of parliament for Amenfi West Constituency. In responding to the host, Ishmael Mubarak, on what he thinks about what the public are saying, he started by saying that the minority is in no way disrupting the activities of parliament.

Speaking with the host of Lucky TV morning show host, Ishmael Mubarak, the MP disclosed that the NDC will never leave Hon. James Gyakye Quayson to his own fate during these trying times.

Hon. James Gyakye Quayson is currently facing charges; the charges leveled against the MP being forgery and perjury.

Lawyers for the member of parliament for Assin North have had their application for stay of proceedings dismissed by an Accra High Court on July, 11, 2023.

Hon. Eric Afful based his submission on the standing, saying the Majority can continue the activities of the House with or without the Minority.
