NDC Awutu Senya East constituency mourns its late Secretary
On Saturday, September 16, the NDC Branch of Awutu Senya East in the central region bid a final farewell to its constituency secretary, Amadu Tauriq.
The late Amadu Tauriq was on admission after he fell unconscious during a meeting that was held at the party’s office and was rushed to a health facility in Kasoa. He was then admitted to Ridge Hospital in Accra, where he was receiving treatment when death laid its icy hands on him.
He was buried on Sunday 17 Sept, 2023.
In attendance were the party executives from the national constituency and his family, who paid their last respects as the final funeral rite of the late secretary was held on Sunday, October 15, 2023.
The national communications officer, Sammy Gyamfi, Peter Otokunor, and other regional executives were all in attendance, speaking to the family and sympathizers.
Mr. Sammy Gyamfi made it known that, through the constituency chairman, the party will take care of his five children’s education at the university level.
The party made donations to the tune of a 30,500.00 GH cedis to the late Amadu Tauriq’s mother and the widow he left behind.
The NPP members of the constituency also came to mourn with the party led by the MCE. Meanwhile, Sammy Gyamfi called on the public to join the NDC to unseat the ruling party in the coming 2024 elections as he brought his address to an end.
