LGBTQ+ not our culture; my gov’t won’t support such practices -Bawumia
The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has emphatically stated that his administration when voted to power will not support the practice of LGBTQR.

Speaking to Nananom at Akyim Achiase as part of Bawumia’s campaign tour in the Eastern Region, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia stated, LGBTQ is a forbidden in all religions and again against the culture of our homeland Ghana and therefore cannot be practiced under his government.
