The two former househelps, 18-year-old Patience Botwe and 30-year-old Sarah Agyei, are charged with stealing the money between July and October 2022.

Furthermore, the first accused allegedly took Kente cloth worth GHS 90,000 and six men’s suits valued at $3,000.

When news of the theft emerged two years ago, Dapaah faced significant public criticism for keeping such large sums of money at home.

Despite this, she was not charged with corruption. Now, she is testifying against her househelps, who could potentially face imprisonment.
