We won’t allow any party or presidential candidate to disturb the peace of Ghana – Akufo-Addo
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Ado has assured Ghanaians that the government will protect the peace and stability of the country at all times, especially during the election period.
Mr Akufo-Addo said the law enforcement agencies including the office of the Attorney-General would deal with any person who attempts to destroy the peace of Ghana on the altar of political ambition.
The President said these when speaking at the commissioning ceremony of the Law House in Accra on Monday, June 10.
He said “I want to use this opportunity to reassure the Ghanaian people that the law enforcement agencies of the state including the office of the Attorney-General will do all within their power to ensure that law and order prevail in the country at all times, especially during this critical election year.
President Akufo-Addo also said the completion of the “Law House” demonstrated the NPP government’s commitment to addressing the age-old office accommodation problem that has plagued the Attorney General’s office and the Ministry of Justice.
