WHEN YOU KNOW YOUR VALUE, YOU WON’T GO WHERE YOU ARE NOT VALUED – STEPHEN APPIAH

The Former Black Stars Captain, Stephen Appiah, believes that the Ghana football Association (GFA) has neglected some of the former players from actively serving in different capacities for the various national teams.

The ex-Black Stars captain shared his disappointment about the state of the game during in an interview on Sompa FM sports in Ghana.

The ex-Juventus and Fenerbahce star believes former players and legends of the country should be involved in the running of the game.

“It is not about speaking big big English; when I went to Italy I didn’t understand Italian but when the coach communicated I understood because of my understanding of the game and I hope that one day if not Stephen Appiah one of the ex-footballers will be wholly involved in the administration of football. Sometimes it is sad because when I take a scroll through my phone to look at some of the connections and networks I have but we hope that one day it is going to get better”
