Supporters Express Disappointment in Kyerematen's Resignation from NPP
Supporters of former NPP flagbearer hopeful Alan Kyerematen, have described his resignation as a cowardly act and a betrayal of his loyal supporters across the country.
The supporters, including members of Mr. Kyeremanten’s campaign team in the recent Super Delegates Conference, expressed their disappointment in his decision to quit the NPP and form a new party. Mr. Kyeremateng announced his resignation on Monday from the New Patriotic Party, of which he is a founding member.

However, at a News Conference in Tamale, an administrator of Mr. Kyeremanten’s campaign team, Chabire Moses Moye, disclosed that their support for Alan was due to his affiliation with the NPP.
He stressed that the team remains loyal to the NPP ahead of the 2024 elections. Mr. Chabire also declared the group’s support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is a flagbearer hopeful in the National Delegates Conference slated for November this year.
